A baby’s skin is highly sensitive, prone to the rashes, dry and flaky skin. Unlike adults, a child’s skin is still developing through the first few years and is more susceptible to the effects of the sun, wind or other irritants. So, it’s truly important to choose the right baby care products for our kids that are gentle, mild and suit the needs of a delicate skin.

I personally find herbal baby products as a safe option when it comes to baby care. They are usually made of natural ingredients and are free from toxins and preservatives. My Experience

As the name suggests, this baby shampoo is mild and gentle. It is completely natural, free of parabens and synthetic colors. All its ingredients are safe and suitable for a newborn. I have been using this shampoo for A&A since past few months and it has suited their hair well. It is transparent in color and has a smooth texture. With gel-like consistency, it spreads across the scalp easily.

My son has thin hair and a single coin-size drop of the shampoo is enough on his hair to lather well. My daughter, on the other hand, has thick hair and I usually need to apply the shampoo twice (especially when her hair is oiled). The good part is that the shampoo rinses off completely in one or two washes and doesn’t cause any irritation to the skin or eyes. After each use, it gives a clean scalp and leaves the hair shiny and soft.

My Experience

Baby Wipes is one of the basic essentials that I use and carry everywhere. I have been using Himalaya Baby Wipes for my twins right from Day 1. These wipes are alcohol free and do not contain any artificial fragrance. They are soft, mild and gently cleanses the baby’s skin. Both its key ingredients Aloe Vera and Lotus are extremely good for skin and completely safe to be used for newborns.

In the first year, I had used these wipes liberally and quite regularly for my kids before every diaper change and it never led to a problem of itching, redness or rashes. Even now, I carry a small pack of these wipes everywhere I go with my kids and they come in handy to quickly clean their face or hands or even food stains and spit-ups.

These wipes are soft and flexible in texture and easy to use. They have a moisturize the skin well and leaves a soothing effect on the skin after every use.

My Recommendation

All Himalaya BabyCare products are free from SLS, parabens, phthalates, mineral oils and artificial colours. They are infused with natural ingredients that are safe on the delicate skin. I would highly recommend these two products by Himalaya BabyCare which I have personally used and found effective on my kids’ skin.
