Quick & Easy 3-Main-Steps Paneer Makhani Recipe

Paneer Makhani is a dish that all paneer lovers relish. It’s a delectable Indian curry made by cooking paneer in tomato cashew gravy. It’s a famous North Indian dish that goes well with roti, rice, naan or paranthas.

This is my mom’s easy-peasy recipe. I would initially make paneer makhani in a very elaborate manner involving multiple steps to achieve the restaurant style taste. But recently my mom gave me this quick & easy 3-main-steps Paneer Makhani recipe that’s super-quick and tastes as good as any other. It involves very few ingredients that are usually available at home. The colour and texture of the final gravy is so pleasing and tempting that it would make you hog the dish without wasting a second.

This Paneer Makhani dish is a hit at my home, especially with my kids. They usually prefer less spicy gravy that’s light and not too heavy. This one is lightly spiced and exactly how kids would prefer. They relish it with both rice or roti.

For this recipe, I have used cream since I wasn’t having it at home. You can add it to your gravy at the end if you like or skip it as per your choice.
